Drop Zone is an exciting program where kids learn how to be great kids, participate in fun activities, and receive a healthy snack to help them become everything that they were created to be, all in a safe and fun environment!
Whether it's to see an adult or high school student who cares about them, to play sports or make a craft, or even to get some extra help on homework and tutoring, kids LOVE Drop Zone! We start the afternoon with a healthy snack and some free time to get the wiggles out. Then we come together to sing songs and learn an awesome and applicable lesson, whether it's about self worth, loving God and others, being kind, fair play, or a host of other topics that affect the kids lives. We then break into groups, and you might find kids working on homework, doing a fun craft, playing an outdoor sport, or cooking in the kitchen with the ladies from the Missouri Extension Agency. We stay busy around here until parents come to pick up their kids at 5:30. We always send them home with fresh baked treats from Ms. Ruby! Although, the treats usually don't make it out the door! We would love to have YOUR kids be a part of Drop Zone.
The Drop Zone is a FREE Wednesday afterschool program designed for kids Kindergarten through 8th grade to have a safe place to go from early dismissal until 5:30pm. High School kids can get community service hours by volunteering to help! Click the button below to register!
